“Mind Your Own Beeswax” is a beautiful one ounce cake of pure beeswax, it will condition thread for strength, fewer tangles, less fraying and it's perfect for quilters, beading, embroidery and general sewing.
I grew up in Southern Colorado, in the San Luis Valley. My family has been in the bee business since WWII. I have eaten more than my share of the best clover honey in the world! and we also had pure beeswax for candles and for thread conditioner. I have been sewing and embroidering for awhile, but once I started quilting the idea of a cute sweet treat for thread or floss came to me! I shared my first wax cakes with the Silver Threads Quilt Guild, the loved them and encouraged me to begin “Mind Your Own Beeswax Thread Conditioner,' I hope you will agree the wax cakes are cute, they smell great and pure natural beeswax is the best for making thread or floss 'mind.'
To use simply pull the thread across the wax, then through your fingers. The heat from your fingers will melt the wax into the fibers of the thread or floss and you are ready to sew with 'gold quality' results!
